Favorite Anime Scenes in Naruto

こんにちは！Today I wanted to share one of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite shows growing up, Naruto. Many of you might know as it's one of the popular shows but this scene that I would like to share is one of my favorite scenes. It shows so much emotions even when they aren't even speaking to each other when they are fighting. The two fighting in the video are two old friends, Kakashi and Obito, however Kakashi had thought that he passed away when they were kids. He was stunned to see him alive after all these years and seeing how evil he had turned out. In this scene, they are fighting against one another during the 4th Great Ninja War and Kakashi is hoping to knock some sense into him. 楽しんでください！

Another one of my favorite scenes in the show is the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke. Many have seen this popular fight and both of these fights really resonate and are very similar in style. Hope you guys like the clips. 楽しんでください！

Japanese Music - Masayoshi Takanaka

こんにちは！I wanted to share to the class a Japanese artist that I recently started listening to about 2 months ago out of curiosity. The artists name is Masayoshi Takanaka and he popped on one day on my TikTok and listening to his calming music made me more intrigued into his music. The title of the music is "トーキョー レギー" or translated into English as Tokyo Reggie which was released in 1976. I would definitely recommend his music if you like to listen to very upbeat and calming music whenever you're studying. 

  Another song that I really like by him is called Brazilian Skies. Although it doesn't have lyrics and it is another upbeat song that gets you in the groove. I hope you guys check it out! じゃあ また。

Why I chose to study Japanese?

こんにちは！My name is Alexi Zavala and I am a first-student class of 2029 Freshman. I am originally from Silver Spring, Maryland but I reside in St. Edward's Hall studying Finance. The reason as to why I chose to study Japanese was because I grew up watching Shounen Anime and I felt like I really wanted to understand more about what they were saying. I would always watch it in sub because I felt like the emotions and the tone of the characters were more emotional than they were in English. The only other language that I speak besides English is Spanish and the only other language that I would hear on a weekly basis is Japanese because of anime. Another reason is that in the future I hope to visit Japan because I have seen how beautiful it is especially during the cherry blossom season. I hope that this semester provides me the basis of Japanese and that in the future I continue to better understand the language, culture, and traditions of Japan. I look forward to working with you all!
